Clinton Lake Park is located four miles west of Lawrence in the scenic Osage Questas region. The 1,500-acre park lies on the north shore of Clinton Reservoir, known for its clear water and good fishing. Modern facilities and an extensive hiking/biking trail system make this park and adjacent 9,200-acre wildlife area an attractive destination for all outdoors enthusiasts. Popular activities include picnicking and swimming, or camping on one of the nearly 500 campsites, including 240 water/electric utility sites and 220 primitive sites. Clinton Lake provides more than 85 miles of recreational shoreline and 7000 acres of usable water surface.
Visitors to the park can enjoy viewing white-tailed deer, wild turkey, waterfowl, bald eagles in spring and fall, and numerous species of songbirds in the carefully managed habitats that make Clinton a distinctive outdoor destination. Clinton offers 16 boat ramps, eight courtesy docks, separate launching areas for windsurfers and personal watercraft, a beach with shower house, six picnic shelter areas, a separate day-use picnic area, four playgrounds, a san volleyball area, an archery range, six shower buildings, two dump stations, and more. The Clinton Lake Marina offers boat slips, fishing and boating supplies, equipment rental, and a floating restaurant. Anglers are attracted to Clinton Reservoir for its good channel catfish, walleye, an crappie fishing.
Well known for its extensive trails system, Clinton Lake Park is an outdoor mecca for hikers, nature photographers, mountain bicyclists, wildflower enthusiasts, wildlife observers, even cross-country snow skiers.

The Human Rights Awareness Tour is a group of traveling musicians, artists, models, speakers, and human rights activists dedicated to educating people everywhere about the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The secondary goal of the tour is to act as a platform to promote and raise money for non-profit organizations and companies working in the field of Human Rights such as Invisible Children, STAND, Global Peace Containers, No Sweat Apparel. The tour will also raise awareness about the major human rights issues and violations occurring in the world today.
The HRAT No Sweat Fashion Show features several sweatshop free clothing companies that uphold strong worker ethics and comply with the 23rd article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Clothing manufacturers that advertise as "Sweatshop Free" must have worker led unions, fair wages, and a safe, comfortable working environment for employees. Several companies featured, such as No Sweat Apparel, purchase products from cooperatives in developing countries such as Palestine for fair prices, while others sell apparel manufactured in the U.S. The aim of the No Sweat Fashion Show is to give festival goers the option of making a difference in the world just by being a consumer; catalogs and coupons are available at the show to facilitate this option.
